Surrey family doctor donates to a good cause.
SURREY, BC Local Naturopathic Doctor, Cindy Quach ND, participated in the recent Heart Health Day at Simon Fraser University on February 28, 2011.
At the Avisio Naturopathic clinic table, students and University staff were able to learn great heart healthy tips created by Dr. Quach and ask questions of an expert. Event coordinator and SFU student, Serena says, “The event was a great success and we were honored to have Dr. Quach at the event. The SFU Healthy Heart Foundation is very happy to see that there are doctors like Dr. Quach who are actively involved in our community and passionate about educating the public.
According to Dr. Quach, “Becoming educated on how to eat better and live a healthier lifestyle is the best thing we can do to both lower healthcare costs and eliminate suffering of many preventable diseases.” An expert in natural healthcare and nutrition, Dr. Quach has been teaching classes and speaking to the public on how to eat and live a healthy lifestyle for the past 6 years. Her speaking engagements and classes are held throughout the Vancouver and lower mainland areas including currently teaching at many local community centers in Surrey. You can catch her regularly scheduled classes at the Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex, Fraser Heights, North Surrey, and Chuck Bailey Recreation Center.
